Drugs are things that surrounds us and are present in our daily life even though we don’t use them, we naturally have typical doubts about them, in this article we are going to run through some details about the most important and common drugs.
We are going to organize the drugs from the most addictive ones.
The first drug of our list is heroin, which is considered the most addictive drug of all time. Heroin is an opiate, which makes this drug the most addictive one and one of the most dangerous, this drug is normally injected but it also can be snorted or smoked, the approximate amount of money that people has made from the selling of it, is about $68 billion dollars.
The second drug of our list is cocaine, cocaine is a strong stimulant that activates our brain, this drug is commonly snorted, it comes from the coca plant and it looks as a fine, white, crystal powder. The short-term effects include extreme happiness and energy, mental alertness, hypersensitivity to sight, and paranoia. This drug can lead people to a terrible addiction and even death.
The third drug of this list is nicotine, nicotine is an accepted drug in our society it is commonly consumed in cigarettes and cigars, this substance is one of the most addictive substances in the earth and it is as hard to give up as heroin, there are one billion tobacco smokers worldwide. Nicotine is both sedative and stimulant.
Our fourth place in the list are barbiturates or downers which are a class of drugs that were initially used to treat anxiety and to induce to sleep. These drugs are also called blue bullets, gorillas, nimbies, and pink ladies. These drugs shot down some parts of the brain, in low doses these drugs can cause euphoria, but in high doses they are extremely dangerous because the respiratory system stops working, in other words the user stops breathing.
At last but not least, the most common drug in world and the most accepted one. Yes, yes, we are talking about alcohol. Alcohol is a drug made from sugars and starches of some fruits, this substance produces dopamine which is a substance that makes us feel better, this drug is one of the deadliest drugs in earth not because of the drug, but the actions that this drug makes us do, such as car accidents. According to some statistics this drug is normally used by 2 billion people in the world and 3 billion people died in 2012 because of the accidents that this drug causes.
