The movement of the yellow vests against the French president Emmanuel Macron due to the gas prices rising, brought together 283 thousand attendees who participated in more than 2 thousand protests that were organized in all the French territory during these weeks.

A protester died yesterday afternoon in the Alps, in the city of Pont-de-Beauvoir, north of Grenoble, in the course of the protest, after being run over by a woman who panicked after the protesters had hit her car, according to the local prefect.

The yellow vests is a group that operates through social network. It brought the population throughout France with the prupose of blocking roads while wearing yellow vests wich are used to give visibility to drivers in the highway. The French government, worried, has sent in the last few days both, threats and gestures of sympathy: "You can protest, but to block a whole country is not acceptable," repeated on Friday the Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe.

The yellow vests have the support of 73% of the French population, according to the institute Elabe. This is a proof of how powerful is a society that is together. Though, they haven’t got the aprovement of the French government. Would you continue fighting for what you deserve or would you stay as a conformist?
