As we know, Disney has always been part of our lives, has accompanied us at times of our childhood, which for many were very important. Therefore, it makes Disney a very successful company. A few days ago it was announced that the version of "The Lion King" would now be made in Live-Action, which we can enjoy in cinemas from July 19, 2019, as expected this news had a lot of impact and much joy and good reception from the fans, but we did not expect the following question to be formulated. Is this a big mistake?

As we alredy know Disney released The Lion King trailer, giving people their first look at Favreau's live-action Lion King remake. However, the "live-action" designation is what's causing some confusion. People start saying that from the trailer, it's clear that the movie is made up entirely of CGI (Computer Generated Imagery), which is why most people believe it should be considered an animated movie. So many people think this isn´t realistic and some of them said this wasn´t what they expect.

They say that “The Jungle Book and The Lion King” VFX (Visual Effects) Rob Legato told THR in 2016 that even he considers these "virtual productions" to still be live-action, he said: "I don’t consider this an animated movie. I consider this just a movie, and this happened to be the best way to make it. We [made] it comfortable for Jon Favreau to come in and be able to direct as if it was a live-action film."

What's more, an argument that has been trumped around since The Lion King remake's announcement is that Disney hasn't referred to the movie as live-action themselves, the thing that is making everyone “upset” is that they expect to be a real “live-action” movie with “real animals”

While that's true, all of Disney's remakes have taken release dates that were originally saved for movies temporarily titled, they comment the following "Untitled Disney Fairy Tale (Live Action). So, yes, The Lion King is all CGI, but it's still a live-action movie.” In my opinion is that we can expect great things of this movie, come on people, IS THE LION KING!, one of the best Disney Movies. Now let´s wait, and hope the give a great surprise!
