In the night of November the 30th, 2018 George H. W. Bush passed away at 94 years-old from a form of Parkinson's disease at his Houston House, surrounded by lots of people that loved him. He was the 41st President of the United States (1989-1993) that governed until the end of the Cold War and served in World War II from 1942 to 1945.

During his last hours, George Bush Jr., his first son, called him from his home in Dallas, Texas. George Jr. told his father he had been "a wonderful dad" and said he loved him, to which he answered with his last words, "I love you, too".
He was accompanied by his best friend, James A. Baker III and Mrs. Baker. Baker had been visiting Bush for the last few days because he had been feeling weakened. He and Bush had a really strong and long-lasting relationship they started before their political life. Baker had seen Bush defeat death before and thought he was going defy it one more time. When he asked Bush if he wanted to live to be 100, Bush told him he did, but didn't think he could make it this time.

Barbara Bush, Bush's wife, died in April, seven months before he did. They were married for 73 years, making them the longest marriage in the Presidency of the United States. They had six children, George Jr., Robin, John, Neil, Marvin and Dorothy. Robin, their first daughter, died from leukemia at the age of three. Bush was happy to finally rejoin Robin and Barbara in heaven and denied to be taken to the hospital, were he would probably recover to live longer.
George H. W. Bush was not only an honored and great President of the U.S. but a great husband, father and friend. He will forever be remembered not only in the history of the U.S., but in the hearts of all his loved ones.
